Most of the 24 photographs in this collection were taken in autumn of 1999, when S.T. Georgiou visited Patmos a final time to meet with Robert Lax.  Lax died in September of 2000 on the feast day of St. John the Divine--the heralded Disciple, Evangelist, Theologian, Seer, and Protector of the Holy Isle.
